What have you gotten out of the convention this year? |

We’ve been looking for effective advertising programs, signage, and facility program management. Also here to talk to some OEMs about dealer development; this has not been easy. NADA should encourage the OEMs to include development centers and to provide additional dealer development information. We’re a single point and we would like to grow.

We have been looking at a lot of direct-mail ideas and for some family-type promotional ideas as well. The Ford bear toy is a favorite that we can use for kids that accompany their parents to the dealership.

We have really availed ourselves of seminars, especially those that deal with Web site improvement. We also enjoyed the one on the seven best practices to get off to a good start with customers.

My sons and I are looking into van conversions for the disabled. Mobility is an important issue for us since we are close to Fort Hood, and we want to be able to support the needs of our customers.
