January 31, 2004—NADA’s 2004 convention opened
this morning with its traditional seat-belt unbuckling ceremony,
admitting dealers to the exhibit floor. NADA chairman Alan
Starling said this
year’s show will host more than 30,000 attendees, who will find
530-plus exhibits spread over a record 327,000-plus square
feet of floor space. This year’s event will also feature 45 concurrent
workshops that Starling said will “provide valuable tools and
information to NADA’s members.”
